José Pablo Rijos is an illustrator and graphic designer based in Puerto Rico, specializing in narrative illustration with a strong focus on children’s books and editorial storytelling. He has illustrated children’s picture books, educational projects, and independent publications, and regularly develops original characters and narrative worlds for both personal and professional work. His experience includes book illustration, character design, and visual development, with a growing emphasis on author-illustrated projects.

 

José Pablo’s approach blends warmth and playfulness with intentional composition and mood, always aiming to invite readers into emotionally engaging worlds that feel cohesive and alive.

 

He holds a Master’s degree in Graphic Design and a background in Fashion Design, which strongly inform his sense of composition, structure, and visual storytelling.
